BMW Lease Specials at BMW of Riverside
Leasing is a shorter-commitment path into a new BMW. You cover the vehicle’s depreciation across the term rather than financing the full purchase. Our current lease offers appear on this page and change month to month. Here’s how BMW lease structure works, so you can read any offer accurately before you sign.
How a BMW Lease Is Structured
The Four Numbers That Set Your Payment
Read any lease worksheet and the same handful of figures do all the work. Understanding which ones are negotiable and which are set by program is the difference between reading an offer and guessing at it.
| Term | What it is | Who sets it |
|---|---|---|
| Capitalized cost | The agreed vehicle price the lease is written against | Negotiated with the dealer |
| Money factor | The interest component of the payment | BMW Financial Services program plus your approved credit tier |
| Residual value | What BMW projects the vehicle is worth at term end | BMW Financial Services — not negotiable, and set in your original contract |
| Term & mileage | Contract length and your annual mileage allowance | You select, within the available program |
Because the money factor and residual are both tied to the active BMW Financial Services program, offers move month to month. That is why the specials above carry dates.
What “Due at Signing” Actually Covers
The amount due at signing is a bundle, not a single fee. It typically combines your first month’s payment, an acquisition fee, local registration costs, and any capitalized cost reduction you choose to apply.
Two Levers That Lower the Payment
Through the Multiple Security Deposit Program, BMW Financial Services NA, LLC allows up to seven security deposits on a new lease, or the transfer of a balance from an existing lease at lease end. The deposits reduce the money factor rather than the vehicle price, which is why they lower the payment without being spent — they are returned at lease end once any end-of-term charges are applied, or carried forward into your next BMW lease.
BMW Loyalty Offers are a separate lever. Eligibility rests on having owned or leased a BMW within the last 12 months — regardless of who financed that vehicle — and requires proof of ownership or a BMW Financial Services account number, credit approval, and dealer participation. The new lease itself must be contracted through BMW Financial Services NA, LLC. Ask which of these apply to the offer you are considering.
Finance & Lease Terms Disclaimer: All lease and finance offers are subject to credit review and approval by BMW Financial Services NA, LLC. Advertised rates, terms, and residual values are set by the BMW Financial Services program in effect at the time of delivery, are available to well-qualified applicants only, and may change or end at any time. Not all applicants will qualify. Final terms are set by the dealer and the lender. See BMW of Riverside for complete program details.
How Credit Approval Affects Your Money Factor
There is no published minimum score for a BMW lease. What your credit standing changes is the tier you land in, and the tier is what moves the money factor. BMW Financial Services describes the general shape of it this way:
| FICO® Score range | What to expect |
|---|---|
| 700 and above | Most likely to qualify for the best advertised rates and terms |
| 620–699 | May still qualify, though typically with a higher rate or an additional down payment requirement |
| No established U.S. credit file | Programs exist for recent graduates and for professionals working in the U.S. without a domestic credit history |
Reviewing your standing before you arrive is worth the twenty minutes. It tells you which advertised offers are realistically in reach, and it prevents a surprise at the desk. You can start the process through our finance center or submit a credit application in advance.
Locking In a Rate Before Your BMW Arrives
Ordering a BMW, or waiting on an incoming unit? You don’t have to accept whichever program happens to be active on your delivery date. BMW Rate Lock lets qualified applicants hold a rate for an extended period so a good offer isn’t lost to a delivery delay. Eligibility and availability are subject to credit review and approval by BMW Financial Services NA, LLC, the vehicle must be contracted through BMW Financial Services NA, LLC at an authorized BMW Center, and delivery must fall within the lock period.
BMW presents Rate Lock among its financing benefits, so confirm with our finance team whether it applies to the specific lease structure you’re considering. Either way, start that conversation early — the program only helps if it’s in place before the rate you want expires.
Choosing a Mileage Allowance Around Riverside, Corona, and Ontario
Mileage planning carries extra weight in the Inland Empire, where commute distances vary widely across the region. A driver heading daily into Ontario or out toward Corona accumulates miles at a very different rate than someone whose driving stays local to Riverside. Corona residents who run up into the Santa Ana Mountains and Cleveland National Forest on weekends should account for that too.
Run the Math Before You Pick a Tier
Take your typical round-trip commute, multiply it out across a working year, then add everything else you drive. The commute alone is usually the number people underestimate.
| Daily round-trip commute | Commute miles per year (5 days/week, 50 weeks) |
Plus 5,000 personal miles |
|---|---|---|
| 10 miles | 2,500 | 7,500 |
| 20 miles | 5,000 | 10,000 |
| 30 miles | 7,500 | 12,500 |
| 50 miles | 12,500 | 17,500 |
| 70 miles | 17,500 | 22,500 |
Illustrative arithmetic only — swap in your own commute and personal-mile estimate. Underestimating costs you at turn-in. Overestimating means paying for miles you never used.
If You Guess Low, You Have a Way Out
BMW’s Mileage Adjustment Program lets you purchase additional miles at a discounted rate, right up until the day before you turn in your vehicle — by phone or through your My BMW account. Program terms, eligibility, and mileage limits apply. BMW does not offer an unlimited-mileage lease, so the tier you select still matters.
Moving out of a current vehicle? You can value your trade-in and apply any equity toward your drive-off costs.
What to Do Before You Visit
The strongest lease agreements are prepared before you arrive. Review your credit standing first, since your approved tier drives the money factor you qualify for. Decide your budget structure next. A larger capitalized cost reduction lowers your monthly payment — but that upfront cash isn’t protected if the vehicle is stolen or totaled early in the term. Gap coverage is built to cover the shortfall between the payoff and the insured value; it does not reimburse a capitalized cost reduction or initial fees you have already paid. That is a reason to weigh security deposits against cash down.
Then ask for the complete lease worksheet. The residual percentage and money factor should both be visible, with nothing folded quietly into the capitalized cost.
If a lease timeline doesn’t fit how you drive, our used vehicle inventory and BMW Certified Pre-Owned selection offer another path into a BMW with a more flexible ownership window.
What Happens When the Lease Ends
Worth knowing at signing, not at month 34. Three paths are generally available, and each has a deadline attached.
- Turn it in and start a new lease. Financing or leasing your next BMW through BMW Financial Services waives the disposition fee on the lease you’re closing out.
- Buy the vehicle. You can purchase at any point in the term. The buyout is based on the residual set in your original contract; BMW Financial Services does not negotiate residual values.
- Extend. BMW Financial Services may have options to extend a lease up to six months past the contract maturity date, subject to eligibility limits.
Our lease-end guide walks through the turn-in inspection and timing in more detail, and BMW publishes its own vehicle return guidance covering registration and plate handling by state.
Common Questions About BMW Leases
What happens if I exceed my mileage limit?
You’ll be charged a set amount per overage mile at turn-in, specified in your lease agreement. If you can see the overage coming, buying additional miles in advance through the Mileage Adjustment Program costs less than paying the overage rate at lease end. You can purchase miles right up until the day before you turn in the vehicle, by phone or through your My BMW account.
Does a new BMW lease include maintenance?
Scheduled maintenance, yes. Every new BMW begins with BMW Ultimate Care, covering BMW Scheduled Maintenance for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Roadside assistance runs 4 years with unlimited miles. Wear-and-tear items such as brake pads, wiper blades, and manual transmission clutch are not covered under BMW Ultimate Care; those require BMW Ultimate Care+, which is purchased separately.
Here’s the split, since it’s the question that comes up most often on a three-year lease:
| Coverage | BMW Ultimate Care (included on a new BMW) |
BMW Ultimate Care+ (purchased separately) |
|---|---|---|
| BMW Scheduled Maintenance | Yes — 3 years / 36,000 miles | Yes |
| Roadside assistance | 4 years / unlimited miles | 4 years / unlimited miles |
| Brake pads and brake discs | No | Yes |
| Wiper blade inserts | No | Yes |
| Manual transmission clutch | No | Yes |
Coverage details for both programs are published by BMW of North America. Availability varies by model, and enrollment windows apply.
Can I lower my lease payment without a large amount down?
Yes. The Multiple Security Deposit Program lets you place up to seven refundable security deposits on a new lease, which reduces the money factor and therefore the monthly payment. Unlike a capitalized cost reduction, the deposits are returned at lease end after any end-of-term charges are applied, or they can be transferred to your next BMW lease.
